Undoubtedly one of the best sparkling wines that comes out of Victoria. This wine is vibrant and fresh, with beautiful acidity and green apple freshness on the finish.

Marlborough is the home of Sauvignon Blanc in the New World, and with racy herbaceous fruits and tangy acidity, this is a terrific example.

The Clare Valley produces unmistakable examples of Riesling and this wine shows pure lifted floral aromas framed by talc and citrus fruits. The palate is vibrant and refreshing and surprisingly powerful. Undoubtedly the most important name in Australia for Riesling.

Cullen ‘Mangan Vineyard’ Sauvignon Blanc/Semillon, 2008 - Margaret River, WA
This wine exhibits complex of aromas of minerals, citrus fruits, hints of dried straw and is certainly one of the best examples of the style made in the country. The palate is lively, but offers more texture than one might expect, and the finish is long, silky and satisfying.

Tarra Warra ‘Reserve’ Chardonnay, 2005 - Yarra Valley, VIC
Chardonnay has evolved in Australia. The rich, buttery over the top styles are disappearing and are being replaced by wines of finesse, elegance and underlying power. This wine is a terrific example, and is loaded with savoury aromas of hazelnuts, charcuterie and vibrant florals. The palate is harmonious, long and beautifully textured.

Hinton Pinot Noir, 2006 - Central Otago, NZ
This quintessential Pinot Noir from Central Otago reveals sweet aromas of fresh cherries. Asian five spice, layers of aromas with hints of the forest floor, and a thickly textured palate that finishes with lightness and vibrancy.

Mitolo ‘GAM’ Shiraz, 2006 - McLaren Vale, SA
Mitolo is a name to watch with beautiful old-vine fruit being used to make wines of hedonistic pleasure. Plenty of smokey oak frames delicious dark fruits, elements of earth and leather and loads of complex flavours. Deep and intense, with a lavish and expansive personality, this wine is sure to excite.

Chateau Reynella Cabernet Sauvignon, 2006 - McLaren Vale, SA
This wine is pure red wine pleasure, as it exhibits amazing levels of concentration, complexity and maturity that speak of its noble origins. The textured palate exhibits layers of cassis, plum and hints of mocha chocolate, finishing with smooth, fine tannins.
